Malaysia vs Indonesia. what more would you ask for the most entertaining final of all time. two countries which has been rivals for over 50 years not only in football. Ok actually, bukan nak cerita pasal sejarah. just nak cerita Malaysia chances of winning this first leg. Since we are coming into this final as underdogs. This is the crucial point that may help us Malaysia to lift this trophy for the first time in history:

Yes, Defence. we know how attacking indonesia can be, with the pace of Okto, Irfan Bachtim, and the technically skillfull finishing of their uruguayan striker christian Gonzales, they can score 3 to 4 goals in bukit jalil so easily. But according to analysis, after that 5-1 lost against indonesia in the opening game, malaysian young defence has been consistently good having just let in one goal in 4 matches. keeping a clean sheet against a massive team like thailand and vietnam(twice) is not an easy task. This shows how solid we can be at the back.

Playing at home in the fist leg is vital for us. Indonesia has been playing at home in all games in this tournament. Having played for the first time away from home will put some pressure on them. Coming into this game as underdogs, attacking and playing pretty football surely not an option for us. Playing counter attacking football and looking for goals on the break has shown how small teams in the premier league beat the top four teams in the premier league. In this scenario it pretty much the same. Stay tight at the back, making hard for the opposing team, be patience, and attack them quickly on the break could be a great option when facing a tough team like indonesia. well, techtically, its all up to Rajagopal, but this tactic has been proven effective in many smaller teams in europe.

To be honest, Shinji Kagawa has been the best young asia player playing in the Bundesliga this season. Reason? simple. After scoring twice in his debut in the Europa League, he continued his form and scored a massive 8 goals in 16 league appearances. Such a massive success for a winger. Quick feet, superb control, providing crosses, mesmerizing dribbling ability is Shinji Kagawa's style of play. At the age of 21, Shiji's has been a fans favourite at Dortmund alongside other young players such as Nuri Sahin, Barios, and Lewandowski. His goals and lots of assist has been the reason he is on the number one spot in choice. oh, do check on Dortmund position in the league. They are leading the league with a 10 POINT GAP!

The German Bundesliga has been fabulous this season or i should say popping out lots of surprises. With the likes of Borrusia Dortmund, Bayern Leverkusen, Bayern Munich, Mainz chasing the title it couldnt be more interesting to watched. Apa yang menarik minat aku untuk consistently melayan bundesliga this season adalah kelibat pemain2 muda asia who have keeping up with the pace of the bundesliga. there are 3 of them who really amazed me the most.

SON HEUNG MIN- HAMBURG SV

At the age of just 18, Son has been a revelation for the Hamburg SV team. Scoring a massive 9 goals in Hamburg pre season friendly has made him the top scorer in the pre season. In the 30th of October 2010, Son scored his first goal for hamburg against FC Koln after returning from a foot injury. The goal he scored against FC Koln has made him the youngers ever player to scored in the bundesliga ending 39 years record held by Manfred Klatz. Playing alongside Van Nistelrooy in the league, the youngster has been nicknamed the korean muller. such an honor for a player of his age. The Korean Football future looking bright.

Alhamdulillah, setelah menunggu selama 14 tahun akhirnya pasukan bola sepak negara berjaya melangkah ke final piala AFF. Credit have to go to K Rajagopal who built this young team to glory. Achievement after achievement done by this Malaysian team from pesta bola merdeka, sea games, and now ending the 14 years wait and a change to bring some silverware. Congratulations for this young and hungry tigers.

In this tournament pasukan negara kita bejaya menamatkan penantian selama 20 tahun untuk pingat emas. 20 TAHUN BEB! lama tu. in the route to glory here pasukan negara berjaya mengalahkan heavyweight asia tenggara iaitu thailand. yes, memang tournament ni untuk under 23 tapi it shows that we are 1st in the youth level among south east asia countries. it shows our football have a bright future ahead.

Yes Malaysia end up losing in the second with just 1 win in 4 games. But did'nt u realize we have very difficult game against asia heavyweight with the likes of japan and china. The previous tournament sebelum ni kita kena belasah teruk. second round pun x lepas. we have a great game against china sebelum referee wat hal.(yelah tuan rumahkan..) but to go to the second round and give a fight is a achievement yang sudah lama kita tak kecapi.

Dalam game ni kita dapat lihat improvement yang sangat ketara dalam skuad bola sepak kita. against team yang sememangnye disegani di seluruh dunia , team kita bagi fight kat diorang. losing 3-2 and 2-0 is a good scoreline. ingat standard kita sangat rendah. dulu kita pernah lawan Man utd jugak and guess what? kita kalah 6-0 bro. still x nampak improvement ke?

Tak perasan ke? skuad bola sepak kita kebanyakannya budak budak muda? they have bright future ahead of them. players macam ahmad muslim, safiq rahim, asraruddin putra, shahrul idlan, aidil zafuan, zaquan adha, izzaq semuanya masih muda and they done very well in big stages macam aff suzuki cup and the match against man utd. do some research bro, football is developing here in malaysia. player macam mane pulak diorng nanti 3-5 years akan datang. they are upcoming stars bro. what we need is patience and soon great thing will come.

overall i hope we malaysian see the improvement in our national squad. they need us fans. kalo bukan kita nak menyokong sape lagi? support our national side. they work very hard dalam menaikkan nama negara dalam pentas bola sepak.

RED Anfield

Sebagai seorang penyokong kuat liverpool, sememangnya melihat liverpool berada di tangga ke-9 liga memang sangatlah tidak menyenangkan. dengan kekalahan ke 7 ditangan newcastle sememangnye memeritkan.

Bagi aku, apa yang berlaku di anfield musim ini adalah disebabkan skuad liverpool yang semakin lama semakin kecil. kelibat mascherano,alonso, arbeloa,luis garcia, riera dan ramai lagi player berkelas dunia, sangatlah dirindui. malah, roy hodgson gagal mencari pengganti yang sesuai.

The form of fernando torres turut menjadi faktor. after the world cup, torres yang baru pulih daripada kecederaan tidak mampu mencapai tahap sebenar seorang striker berkelas dunia. sentuhan yang tidak meyakinkan, movement yang kurang kepantasan, no flare, work rate yang kurang, telah membuktikan torres berada luar daripada tahap yang sebenar. for me,he should be rested and sit on the bench for a while. give the likes of babel and ngog in the striking position, and let torres come in as sub. in that way, maybe he can build some confidence.

out of form

Liverpool away form have been poor this season. liverpool lost 6 away games. roy hodgson should encourage the players to play more aggresive and willing to win daripada permainan yang lebih terikat dengan tactical attributes. run more, work hard more. in the games against newcastle menjadi bukti. hanya dirk kuyt bekerja keras dan dia mendapat goal.

dari segi penampilan sememangnye arsene wenger mendapat markah tertinggi.setiap kali game, suit yang fit dan stylo menjadi pilihan coach yang berbangsa perancis ini. buat k rajagopal pula, dia lebih selesa memakai seluar slack office dan baju oversize. mybe dia ingin menampilkan image baru untuk coach di luar sana.penampilan rajagopal di touchline sangatlah berbeza berbanding arsene.

dari segi pemilihan pemain, mereka berdua mempunyai persamaan yang ketara. mereka lebih gemar menggunakan pemain muda di dalam skuad diorang. lihat saja pemain2 malaysia yang diturunkan semasa malaysia menentang vietnam tempoh hari. semuanye di dalam anggaran 26 tahun dan ke bawah. buat arsene, sudah tidak perlu dihebohkan lagi. fabregas, wilshere, van persie, gibbs telah menjadi tonggak utama di dalam skuad wenger dan mereka masih muda.

dari segi game plan pula ia sedikit berbeza. arsene memegang prinsip permainan cantik. smooth quick passing and movement sememangnye sudah terkenal buat arsenal. rajagopal pula lebih gemar memegang prinsip direct, aggresive, counter attacking football . bak kata org main 'senang'lah. but aventually it works against vietnam.
